How about a Gingerbread Art Piece that Speaks for You?
Consider entering the contest with a creation that represents your business! It can be both a unique advertisement for your business and a creative team-building project for your employees. Five themes are offered to inspire (but certainly not to confine) gingerbread artists. Perhaps one of these themes resonates with you and your business. Whatever the inspiration, there’s sure to be fun in the making!
Impact Highlights from 2024
Our second season shone with enthusiasm and generosity!
Charitable donation - The Festival far surpassed the prior year, inspiring gifts totaling $11,000 to benefit Nourishing the North Shore.
Visitors - We welcomed 1,133 visitors, an increase of more than ten percent over 2023.
Gingerbread Creations - Participation was up ten percent, with 36 creations on display – a success in both quantity and quality. What a delight to see these works of art and works of heart!
Volunteers - Our indispensable intergenerational force of volunteers totaled 71, ages 12-92!
Community participation expanded to include 48 sponsors and donors, plus eleven businesses and nonprofits which contributed gingerbread creations of their own. They and others boosted our outreach efforts by sharing Festival information with their audiences, and some hosted workshops to encourage new people to learn the skills involved and the tricks of the trade.
